From 2021, MaxiPortable data collectors will come with a new option – an embedded GPS tracker to add geo-location positioning data to all logged events, to allow for tracking, GIS analysis and data mapping (devices, workers, bins, lugs, bags, counts, weights, etc.).
Similarly, MaxiFuel loggers on mobile tanks can be tracked and fuel issues geo-located.
MaxiGPS is optional to keep cost down for those who do not need it. Upgrading costs less than replacing, therefore this new feature is designed to retro-fit into existing MaxiPortable devices deployed in the field and MaxiFuel units.
GPS logging will be available early in the new year, followed closely by enhanced data connectivity also designed to be backward compatible and able to retro-fit.
